I got a vasectomy when I was in my mid 20s and twenty years later I have no regrets. If you decide to go through with it, you might have trouble getting a urologist who will do it on someone who is so young (I got turned down by the first urologist I saw because he said I'd regret it later). My suggestion is to tell him that your high school sweetheart is pregnant with your third kid and you can't afford another one.

Just to let you know, you can still have kids after a vasectomy if you want through speed aspiration. You just can’t have them accidentally.

If you have an active sex life I think it's a reasonable decision to make.

If you're concerned about the possibility of wanting children later in life, make sure to freeze sperm at a few different facilities (for redundancy).

It's your life. Do what you want with it.

I considered a Vasectomy, but eventually became a Christian. No point for me to get a Vasectomy because I'm living a life of abstinence.

A vasectomy can be reversed but it is by far from a guarantee to work. The reversal procedure is more painful, requires a longer recovery time, is expensive and not usually covered by insurance. If you do it, I would consider it permanent.

I got mine when I was 22. Would've done it sooner but I live in a small town so that wasn't an option. Had to wait till I was on vaca in Texas and managed to get one down an hour before my flight home.

46 now, got my vasectomy when I was 24. Best decision ever...except now I will never fuck without condoms...fucking diseases are scary.

Up to you really, but personally I wouldnt, Id rather just exercise caution when having sex because I dont want to change anything in my body.

To be honest, why do I have get a vasectomy because of greedy feminists? Anyway if you do go through with it just freeze your sperm.

I definitely wanna get a vasectomy. Worst case I’ll freeze some sperm so if I ever wanna have a baby via surrogate when I’m 40, I can.

I am pretty sure you can freeze sperm if you desire. But all around it is likely one the best choices you will ever make in your entire life. Women don't understand birth control so like with everything men need to be accountable.
