Start in Thailand. That's the way I did it. Learn how to live frugally. Really frugally. Disconnect from worldly possessions and unnecessary luxuries. Get comfortable with yourself and your thoughts and really learn how to think for yourself, without the distractions and influences of others (that're so utterly inescapable back home in your own culture). Learn how to survive and make a life for yourself in places where you understand absolutely nothing, and where there's no one to call for help should you stumble and fall. Only one way to fly, little birdie... and that's to fall out of the nest and figure shit out, by life or death necessity, before you splat into the ground.

Once you get the hang of things, you'll be free to live almost anywhere. Grab your pack, catch a flight outta Thailand, and become a new man in a new land. The world's your bitch once you get out there and start fucking it.

Thailand. First step is Thailand. Cheap, easy, friendly Thailand. Your gateway to the world. Book your flight now. About $600'll get you there. Immunizations can be had for nothing after you arrive -- make the tropical disease center your first mission upon touching down at BKK. Get up to Chang Mai sooner rather than later. Try a smaller city like Chang Rai if you really want to stretch those dollars.

One pair of pants. One pair of shorts. A couple of shirts. 3 changes of underwear. This is all you need, in the smallest pack you can justify. Buy more shit as you need it (you won't). Wash your clothes in the bathroom sink using shampoo. Don't bother booking hostels ahead of time (you'll get a better price in person, as the day closes). Don't eat the "special" curry.

And whatever you do, for the love of god, don't get a girlfriend. At least not for the first year or two. Which is about how long it takes to really get into the swing of things.

I feel the same way but I am young and therefore broke. Once I've saved up enough money, I'm looking to move to either Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Romania, or Portugal. Basically countries where the language is easy to learn, where I can quickly assimilate and places I've got high hopes for in the future..

If you need to escape NOW, take $5,000 and put it into a Paraguayan bank account and Paraguay will give you automatic permanent residency. Paraguay is probably one of the best countries for MGTOW monks. It is so easy to buy land in the chaco region and just ghost from society forever. The country has very low taxes and you can own guns.

My family moved to the states for a "better life" not knowing they will be fucking up mine over. One day I'm planning on getting a dual citizenship back to Ukraine as there are a few things USA does okay.

MGTOW here who left Canada for similar reasons in 2002. I have traveled the world since and have the means to compare, having lived for extended period of time in dozens of countries. But first let me tell you, you are not alone. While Canada is way worse with respect to societally embedded misandry, the number of Americans renouncing their citizenship is the highest ever. Most of them are men. No surprise.

Thailand I would recommend to avoid. More foreigners get murdered in Thailand than in the rest of the world combined. If you stay there for any meaningful amount of time, you will have known a number of men whose death was ruled by Thai authorities "suicide" after they were thrown out of a highrise with hands tied behind their backs and a plastic bag tied over their heads, or ruled death by "natural causes" despite two gunshot wounds in the back of their heads fired from 100 yards away.

Thailand is good for experiencing the feeling of being asked to go out with a girl, instead of facing eternal rejection because you're a male, but Thai women are professional liars and manipulators. They are capable of maintaining several simultaneous relationships, making each man feel like they are their only one and they love them long time, but the moment they fooled you enough to change your will, then you suddenly commit suicide from a highrise or die from natural causes.

The best advice I can give you is - just do it. I left Canada realizing there must be more to life that wasting the best years of your life working for the man, because you are told one day you may retire and then you will be able to start enjoying the good things in life. What they fail to mention is that you may not live to retirement, in which case all you will have known is work and life in a society that panders to women and exploits men, or if you live long enough, your health may not be up to par to do things like climbing mountains, going scuba diving, etc.

I quit my job, threw out most of what I owed and donated the rest, including my car, only keeping not more than what I could fit in a backpack. A well working laptop was part of it.

I lived on $600 a month in SE Asia from the beginning, because I didn't have any income and my savings were limited (about $10k). Overtime, I built up the means to generate enough income on line to sustain my life, albeit I still have to live frugally.

Do it, don't worry about where you'll get the money from, or else you'll worry until you die. Just pack up and leave and take it from there. Start with SE Asia due to low cost of living, but spend some time in a few countries until you find one that resonates with you. Each man is different, so one place that may work for one, may not be that great for another.

I lived in Nome, Alaska for 2 years and it was great. No stop lights, mostly dirt roads, 24 how daylight in the summer. Alaskans are very utilitarian, especially that far north, which leads very little room for progressivism and other social nonsense. If you are good with your hands and can handle your booze, it's not a bad spot. Internet is expensive as shit though. And there were only 2 Pokemon Go gyms haha.

I'm personally thinking of doing the same. I've lived abroad in Thailand for a year, Chiang Mai specifically and I loved it, but I got tired of the Visa run every 2 months. I'm thinking of checking out somewhere in South America next, for a more permanent place to live. Columbia is high on the list, but might be a bit too expensive for me, so I'll also check out Uraguay, Argentina and Chile.

Plenty of places to go in the states. And if you can live anywhere you could potentially buy a cheap trailer or build a cabin. It's also easy to add some solar panels for power.

I think there are lots of places in the US you can go to live off the grid. Most other countries in the world are trying to mimic US culture and lifestyle anyway (in a general sense), so it's not like you're going to find more enlightened people anywhere you go.
