If she doesn't want to talk to you, but to someone closer, what's the problem? You were clearly not the close friend she was hinting to and you can go on with your life, and she will have a conversation about this stuff that is clearly personal and confidential with someone she feels more comfortable with. You're not entitled to a conversation if she doesn't want you to have it.
