What happens when the ratio moves to women 60% to men 40%. Will men by getting those same discounts?

We know the answer to that.

This kind of stuff bothers me most because it's so transparent. They'll say they're not punishing men, but it's just semantics.

It's like saying: "We're not making men pay double, we're making women pay half!"

Tickets are over $1k for 2, lets say $500 per person.. + plane tickets to Europe and hotel. That is a ripoff thing.. There is nothing you can learn there and only reason those are organized is to rip some silly chaps out of their money because those chaps are thinking that they might have a shot of meeting Elon or something.. get real. You can make better business connections and learn more in your local meetup for devs and its most likely free.

wow if you are a women you can get discount on tickets. If you are men who cares about you guy, you are just a slave that was created to serve the masters and the hamsters. You can't question them if you question their actions and injustice your life would be fucked up officially. There is no wrong in encouraging women but it can't take the other people hardworking and their money like these hamsters are doing.

These major tech conferences are just dog and pony shows and completely pointless for anyone in the actual trenches in the industry. Couldn't think of bigger waste of time.
