Hmmm... I'm not certain that's really true; I mean let's examine the two roles.

Issue/Topic	Wife	Prostitute
A. Sex Frequency & Type (positions, kinky fetishes, etc)	Probably RARELY and seldom when you want it (only if/when SHE wants it and then on her terms)	Ready when you are -- will probably do whatever you want (within reason) -- and you can negotiate special things in advance (plus you know the price, AND it's a one time {or per time} limited cost).
B. Commentary on your size and/or performance	Most likely hyper-critical, bored & complains, whines, fakes it (and is obvious about it, poor at it), and/or never actually satisfied (base attitude problem -- see it as a "chore")	Wants repeat (HAPPY) customer, that's probably 'nuff said right there... But think about it for a minute... if your dick is small, or bent, or you have trouble getting it up, she'll probably do everything she can to *HELP* (active in foreplay, boosting your ego, etc). She sees it as part of her JOB, and she want to EXCEL at it.
C. General day-to-day Talking, Nagging, Bitching, etc	Incessant, Unending, Banal Probably the worst when you are down; but just as likely to put extra effort into BRINGING YOU DOWN is you've had a good day.	NEVER. (Because she's just NOT there unless you want her to be; and when you WANT her to be, she's "on the clock" and professional about it {and if she isn't then you pay her and she's gone, and you NEVER rehire her).
D. Cooking, cleaning, household chores.	These days... *FUGGEDABOUTIT* and if you try to insist, you only make "C" above even worse	Wrong Profession. She's NOT "household staff" ... you want a maid, or a cook, hire a maid or a cook. (You can "rent" them by the hour too.)
E. Birthing, Nursing & Raising YOUR children	Ostensibly this is what the WIFE is all about. But of course you'll probably never be 100% certain they're actually yours; and if they're not, you could still be stuck paying for them (for decades, if not your entire life).	Again, wrong profession. But -- again -- you CAN hire ("rent") women for this too, they're just not called "prostitutes", but rather are "surrogates"... and of course this too is a "contractual" thing, one where you can know the price in advance, where the billing is limited, etc.
F. Financial Price/Cost	Basically perpetual, and infinite... pretty much everything you have. You'll never really know the full "bill" until you're dead.	Per hour (or per service) IOW a set fee, usually determined in advance, and mutually agreed upon before you engage her in the activity.

Marriage is NOT "legalized prostitution" -- because (unlike with a prostitute) with a WIFE, there is no guarantee you will get ANY of the "services" you're expecting.

False. The western (and the Eastern too, we have to debunk this mythical 'eastern woman is different' meme) wife uses sex as a tool to condition the husband to do what she wants him to do. IOW, 'if you obey me, then we make sex'. And this happens solely during the training stage, aka honeymoon. After this stage, infrequent sex is what there is for the husband who, in turn, is willingly conform to his new master in hopes of obtaining the initial wild sex he received during honeymoon.
