This is not really a question that takes a lot of brain power...reality check:

Women entered the work force essentially doubling home income for married couples (the plus)

corporations and govnernments see all this extra income that is out in the market to tap into and accordingly adjust the cost of everything (nothing but pure fucking greed) to be a balance to what incomes were prior to women entering the work force such that dual income households have the same or less buying power than single income households had back in the day of single income households used to be the norm (about 2 generations ago) and corporate greed continues to drive this bottom line down to this day (cost of everything going up while wages stagnate).

while single income households can and do make ends meet (I have seen it in the US when I lived there and worked with the USN, some of my co-workers were single income parents with 3 kids and a wife to support and somehow they managed)...this is essentially not living in luxury, it is barely making ends meet today or surviving on credit. If women want luxury in today's world it is essential that they earn their own money...its just reality get the fuck over it (to women who have the audacity to complain).

Lol. That's an Indian girl right there for you. Most women in India and China are now turning into such entitlement whores because there's a general consensus building there that patriarchy is all evil and feminism is all good. More and more Indian men are expressing their frustration at such women and avoiding marriage/long-term relationships. We will see how it goes.
