This is so predictable, has already been acted out time and time again throughout history:

- She was a long term drug addict.

- She was a long term criminal.

- She was almost definitely a prostitute to pay for her drug habit.

- As a result she has serious attachment issues, and issues with compulsion and not being able to practice delayed gratification.

- He stood by her through it all, helped her get on her feet, probably paid for her to study and provided her with a warm safe home.

- Now she is on her feet she perceives her own value as being higher, hence she is worthy of a higher status male.

- The end result: she will drop him the moment a higher status male pays her attention, and the male who stood by her will be left picking up the pieces emotionally, and turn MGTOW until 5 - 10 years later she pursues him again because she "only really loved him" and she also ended up getting back into drugs and prostitution and needs a beta to pick her up out of the gutter again.
