Well for me. It means being able to understand the motivations of humans. The desires, greed and materialism that we innately have and counteracting them by refraining from them. These vices over power us and guides on a path that does not necessarily improve our lives using happiness and contentment as a barometer ofc. By refraining from sex our true desires become more clarified. Monk mode also means that you eliminate a plethora of dangers... Its as if life itself becomes clear, and insurmountably peaceful. This is ofc MGTOW, it will be different for everyone.

No more STDs.
No more false rape allegations.
No waste of time.
Saving money.

Fuck all this "no fap" extremism bullshit. I consider celibacy enough. Intentional celibacy. I very well could get laid if i wanted and got laid often in the past. I simply choose not to because it's a risk. The way i avoid sexual interaction is i fail to "make the first move". Women never make the first move because i can be somewhat intimidating. So, nothing will ever happen and they just assume I'm some angry hot douche with an entitlement complex who thinks he's too good for them

Since MGTOW is not a movement people might have different opinions about it.

For me going monk means leave materialism behind and all things that take your happiness and mental health away like women, at this level (level 4) the mgtow dont want anything to women anymore and focus completely on his self improvement and goals.

After that is just going ghost which is leave society completely behind, no more women BS, simps and manginas and no more supporting the state.

It means choosing not to stick your dick in crazy (read as any female). Monk 5 years. This is one choice in going my own way. For me it has nothing to do with peace or enlightenment ( maybe for some). It has everything to do with survival and keeping all my shit.
