Charisma is the ability to captivate people with how interesting you are or passionate you are. I couldn't give 1/10th of a shit if people find me interesting.

I do my own thing and if people don't like it then that's their problem.

Perhaps I'm jaded, but my definition for the word is "Being a piece of shit but having the social skills to convince everyone else that you're a good person."

I detest that word, I've known several people that are unstable assholes and will cheat, steal, lie, backstab, and manipulate every single person around them on a whim and are deeply loved by everyone anyway because they have great Charisma.

There are lots of great people that are loved by many and for good reason, but i've never heard someone decent called charismatic. Maybe it's just my experience... who knows.

Charisma is the ability to naturally talk to people and make them comfortable. Its a person that's hard to dislike and easy to be around. It's when someone can walk in a room and everyone's happy to see them.

Even though I don't like his politics, Obama was the most charismatic and charming politician I've ever seen. He was just naturally cool and confident. That's charisma.

And women can't really be charismatic, because it's a masculine trait. The same way a man can never really be sexy, because that's a feminine quality.

A woman can be confident and easy to talk to but its not charisma.

Charisma is a dump stat, unless you're playing some pansy ass Bard. Put your scores in STR, INT, WIS, DEX and CON before even thinking about your CHA. True in life, as in games.

It's just being naturally good at socializing, and being a person of status/trustworthiness that other people enjoy. I think that usually they are GIVERS in social interactions and not TAKERS.

They don't try to show off, they don't talk AT you, and they seem genuinely interested in your progress in life - remembering small details, etc. without coming across as someone who recently read "how to win friends and influence people"

If you’re not Chad then you need to entertain them and show social dominance. They’re pretty shallow so it’s basically showing outgoing alpha characteristics. It has nothing to do with substance.
