Here's what I would do. A real friend of mine would know not to even bring this shit up during the months of Football Season. I sure as shit am not going to be going to a wedding on the weekend of Stanford vs Notre Dame, Texas vs OU, or Michigan vs Ohio State. Don't even bother and they will know this. If they do ask any other time I would go and I would be going stag and wrecking the party.
