This reminds me of the time I turned in my sleep and accidentally hit my exgf in the head. She literally acted like I had agency in my sleep. Like, I choose to do something in my sleep and it was my fault. I apologized for doing it but she wanted to know why I did it and being asleep and it being an accident was not an acceptable answer. I'm still baffled over that one. Reality has no bearing sometimes.
