Wow.

I've considered suggesting he get rid of it, but he's had it for something like seven years and don't know if he'd give it up.

He's had the cat for a long time. He's bonded with it, and I'm sure the cat has bonded with him. And she just wants him to dump it.

That would fuck the cat up a lot. Like, seriously. Animals are simpler than human beings. You can sit an animal down and explain why you're suddenly disappearing, like you might with a person. She's basically asking for him to destroy that cat's tiny little life because she is jealous.

It makes me wonder, really, why she's so threatened. She's that boring that she can't compete? Or she thinks that affection is somehow unmanly?

Look at this story in depth

She herself admits that he’s handsome, funny, smart and good job. Meaning he gives her free shelter, pats all the bills, gives her money and on top of that he’s got all the other features. And she’s with him for 4 years

Yet she’s still unsatisfied simply because he’s attacked to his cat.

Is there anything females don’t get jealous about. Is there anything which they won’t pick on. It’s such a tiny thing yet it’s a big issue to her

I would pack up the cat and take it to a friend or family member so she doesn't kill it while I'm away getting new locks for my house. someone that cold is exactly the type that would "accidentally" let the cat out or feed it antifreeze.

Grade A sociopath. She clearly can't wrap her brain around someone loving their pet. He's not even doing anything unusual, it's pretty standard fare for any pet owner.

The thought doesn't even enter her head that if she took kindly to the cat, he would appreciate her for it and it would strengthen their bond. It's all me, me, me.
