Programmers (and other types of nerd) are the thirstiest simps in the world.

They get no female attention and tend to gorge on stories that feature simple love stories, thus their entire model of femininity and relationships is wrong.

They buy into the myth that one day they will make enough money to be attractive to women (never realizing it's their money that is attractive not them), and the first woman who touches their penis in their 30s has them hook, line and sinker.

I work in programming and it is a graveyard of divorces, alimony and child support payments, and dumbass simps lining up for round 2 because they believe that one particular woman was just crazy.

This is accurate. I'm a software engineer, and in all the years I've worked in the field, about 90% of my male coworkers were simps. They're the type of guys that have no sense of honor, and are cowards in many ways in life. I would be embarrassed to be associated with them outside of the work environment. And every female engineer I've worked with was either a pretty chick who didn't know how to do her job and relied on the simps on the team to do her work for her, while she would set up a million meetings to talk about useless things. Then there were the few competent chicks who were all ugly and had a chip on their shoulder, trying to prove that they could do anything a man can do.

It's the standard blue pill fate.

When feminists started squealing from their pig pens that all men are rapists, they neglected to mention that it's just the guys they date, who are rapists, as they're the ones selecting them. It's not like women (and therefore feminists) even see the lower 80% of guys.

They also forgot that they didn't grow up in the 1600s, but the men their age also went through the same political brainwashing classes as they did.

So women guys ages are all hating on them, the regular guy, who never raped or hurt anyone and went through feminist victimology class with the rest of them.

So you take the soft, fruity, millennial who has been told his entire life to #RespectWomen, #BelieveAllWomen, and that women are magically being kept out of STEM classes by ogres, and tigers, and bears and raped 70 times a day so that programming and STEM has to bend over backwards based on these lies, ignoring that women don't particularly want to go into STEM, and since women don't, therefore STEM is misogynist.

Then you look at who goes into STEM, your nerds, your autistic types, your socially weird ones.

So when a women comes into a STEM subreddit, everyone starts worshipping at the pedestal of Nerd Girls^tm because they're so rare due to the misogyny in STEM.

So they come ask some question, and every sexless awkward boy in there goes full retard and begs to serve m'lady.

Why else wouldn't they? Their primary sexual expression is porn and e-girls, so they assume Belle herself showed up to sell bathtub water and ask about document.Write calls in javascript cause STEM question + imagined hot girl = simp set to flank speed.

Programmers tend to be the type of person who is less socially driven. So something like MGTOW is too much as it requires a lot of knowledge of social behavior, circumstances and how to interact with people. And I say this as someone who has programming knowledge and observing the kind of behavior a typical programmer exhibits

My guess is because the majority (not all!) of the programming types tend to fit the stereotype we're all familiar with, to include being awkward with females. Remember, it wasn't so long ago that being a 'nerd' was considered uncool. Now, it's kinda the status quo.

When you’ve had very little female attention in your life, it makes you even thirstier; you have seen a glimpse at some of the beauty of female behavior- the tip of the iceberg so to speak. So they see the iceberg tip, get thirsty, but do not have the skills or looks to continue to get that behavior, not the experience to guide them on how to get the behavior. So they default to their social programming, white knighting. Months go by, they get a slight hint of validation, and that gives them a confirmation bias that it was the white knighting that got them this behavior.

This is why FA and incels think the end all be all for a great life is women; precisely because they have not had a woman.

This is why tradcons are usually in the middle, only a little experience with women, so it’s easy to pedestalize them.

And this is why I laugh when people call MGTOW virgins; I’d hazard a guess that most of us actually have more experience with women than most, and that is precisely why we are MGTOW.

Because they're made up of nerds who don't have much practical or real world experience with women, thus they put them on a pedastal. I understand how it is because I used to be one of them when I was young.

A Mechanical Engineering student here, though we also need to have preliminary knowledge about programming and Python is a must. We are also seeing an influx in our department because of the quotas, but most of the girls go for IT afterwards, no matter their specialization. That's because core Mechanical jobs involve working on the ground, and the pay is much lesser than what they get in IT. But, the thing is that interaction with women is not possible for STEM graduates ( Speaking of India ), and they bend over for a crumb of their femininity, not realizing it actually makes them look bad.
