It's not even Hollywood, you can see this shit in your house, your school, the media, the Internet, even on Reddit itself.

For example, when trolls brigade on this sub, the first thing they will inevitably say is "You guys are such whiners, all you do is act like you're victims while you sit here and hate half of humanity, which is so pathetic." Um, hellO? What exactly have women been doing for the past 100 years? Whining every day about imaginary privilege/oppression, pretending to be victims of every imaginable scenario, and hating the entire male population which comprises half of humanity.

The double standards are so obvious you can cut it with a knife and yet those blue pill bastards refuse to see their own hypocrisy. What they're effectively saying is that only females are allowed to behave that way while men have to conform to the stereotypical expectations that exist in their head.

Here are some of the best examples of men getting criticized for doing the same things women are doing.

If a woman were to say something like " I won't date a guy because he's fat/broke", she is applauded because she is able to set standards. "You go girl!"

But god forbid, if a man says something like "I don't want to date a woman because she's fat/broke", all hell breaks loose.

If a man cheats on a woman, he'll be called names such as perverted pig, etc, etc. Which is understandable since cheating is wrong. But here's where it gets interesting: If a woman cheats on a man, guess what.... IT IS STILL THE GUY"S FAULT. "Oh she cheated on you because you weren't trying hard enough to please her", etc.

No man can make a harassment charge against a Gay man stick, unless he HIMSELF is Gay.

Because it is extremely threatening that a man can be independant. No one can control him. That is why (here at least) celibate man are taxed a lot more than couples, and are shamed on a daily basis by peer pressure to "find someone". All (male and female) friends in shitty relationships ask "when you'll find someone" and want to introduce you to their friends all the time. Thanks but no.

There is a mix of jealousy that you're not afraid to be alone, they feel threatened by this.
