Laziness. Easy hole access and regular cum dumping leading to complacency, a lack of initiative to change circumstances and a lack of clarity of understanding as to how fucked their situation is. Well here's my personal logic. 9's and 10' don't have to get good at sucking dick or doing any position you want (unless you're complete alpha Chad thundercock), because she's hot as fuck, and most guys are happy just to get her, though few do. A girl who's lower down on the scale, especially if lower down in ratings than you, would be more willing to do stuff, because to her you're the catch. She wants to keep you around.

Persoanlly, I'd call myself a high seven maybe low 8. I'm a short guy otherwise I'd be much higher as I workout alot, dress great, have a 'respectable' and well paid job and other shit goin for me. Persoanlly, I wouldn't even bother going for anything above an 8 really as its too much hard work, and ultimately all pussy is the same. My target range is like a 7-8, I'd stoop lower I suppose if I was really horny, but it's hard to get turned on below that. Men date across or down, women Date across or up.

I don't think men care about how much money a woman makes, especially when the topic of marriage is not on the horizon (yet). She's not spending a dime on him, rich or poor.

Women do care about how much a man makes, when they look for the betabux in the AF/BB strategy.

So to answer the question: men DON'T actually do that in terms of money, and the reason for that is women's preferences.

It is not down from a male perspective, when it comes to a woman having less money than him. The beta pays for everything anyway. A poor woman with lower expectations, is actually an upside for that guy.

Women do date up in terms of money.

Men look at appearance and attitude and may date down in that category.

When a woman is well off and also ugly, you get a total mismatch; instead of a down dating event, it usually goes nowhere. These are the women where all those clueless where-have-all-the-good-men-gone usually focus on.

These women mirror their own preferences on men and cannot figure out it cannot work that way.

"I'm rich, so I must be a good catch" does not and should not go together with "I'm not paying; the man should pay for everything, because chivalry", but they won't make that connection, even when the results fail.

That's not been my understanding. Most men marry the same kind. Professionals marry professionals. Managers marry managers. Line workers marry hairdressers. And most marriages happen among those with high educations. Those with low and no education tend not to.

So if people marry the same type, they are divorcing the same type. And I think I can explain why.

Felicia sees that Claire, who she went to college with, just bought her third property because her husband made VP. Felicia doesn't have that. So she thinks she's missing out, and she blames her husband. That kind of resentment has been well documented here and well known.

You'd have to think that Rose, the bar worker who dropped out of high school, isn't going to be the one who gets resentful among her circle of friends, when she ends up marrying the lawyer and moving into a half-million dollar condo. It'll be all the rest of her friends that'll be resentful. It doesn't mean she won't cheat, and it doesn't mean she won't divorce, but when the alternative is to go back to dating dregs making bad money, you tend to be more cautious.

I don't think necessarily men date down. The get the best that they think they can. Men have a wider range of preferences in women then women in men. Look at all the different types of women in porn vs men. And yep a bunch of men are simps because that is what they want/think they need to be to get women. With relationships/marriage they go for what they want. If they want a "strong" woman that is what they get, if they want a caring women that is what they go for. The problem is that after they get it they find out that the woman was just pretending to be it to get them because women usually are whatever the situation calls them to be and eventually they get tired of the roll they are playing and with laws and societal rules as they are now they get prizes and sympathy for playing the role long enough instead of punishment for betraying their commitments
