I'm studying in STEM, 2 years back I had this lecturer. I remember him telling the class he's problem with women studying STEM. Basically what happens is, they look at pretty in the practicals and get men to do their work for them. When it comes to the test they dress nicely and try to convince him to boost their test scores. When he asks how they do so badly in the test but not in the practical they tell him how they'd get "help" from some guys in the class.

Anyways following week he had to apologize to the entire class for offending some women who had complained to the dean. Thing is he was talking from experience, I see it still now in my final year of studying, women do exactly what he said and they pass. He no longer lectures, probably as a result of women complaining about his "sexist stories"
