Hiring on some other basis than merit is retarded in general.

But even hiring for diversity they go about it the dumbest way possible. The power of diversity comes from intellectual diversity, people with entirely different mindsets and origins come together and let their ideas compete against each other, possibly creating something new and unique or at least showing an existing problem from a new dualistic perspective.

What does the circus do in comparison? Their diversity is skin color and gender diversity. WTF is hiring black DeShawn over his white neighbor Scott bring to the table in terms of mindset diversity, if they had nearly identical life stories? Clowns are even failing miserably at their own declared goals, despite even these goals being very questionable in the first place.

When I was at university I once lived in a dorm of girls ( residential tutor..and no I couldn't sleep with them unless I wanted to get chucked out of uni). It was an utter nightmare. Constant fighting, backstabbing, bitchiness, boyfriend drama, cheating etc..... basically the worst of female nature. I tended to not socialize with them after one incident where one of them was getting pestered in a nightclub, and pointed me out as her "boyfriend", the drunken dude then proceeded to try and start a fight with me. I can only imagine that female dominated places of work are just as toxic.

Their diversity is another of saying "we can't beat men in competition, it's too much hard work, just hire us for existing". Sadly, it works.

If the CEO hired a female engineering boss id leave. I already do most of the work, I wont be doing the manager work too.

The company fails after all woman are hired.

Just watch the acceleration of diversity hires destroying companies nose down, afterburners on ploughing into the ground and then begging the Govt to bail them out.
