This is a propaganda piece to make Americans accept unlimited immigration.
The US is spending too much on welfare, healthcare and military. If it didn't it would free up hands to do whatever supposedly isn't getting done.

Leave it to Slate to turn what are cumulative disadvantages with being a male at work into a sort of communist portrayal of wage-shortages. Sure, there are issues with pay, but there are more issues with availability of jobs due to them being given to womyn.

Pay stagnation/decline is a result of womyn entering the workforce in mass.
Meanwhile most companies can't even give shareholders inflation money for their dividends.

This is my goal entirely. Save up a ton of money and just quit working (hard) in my 30's. Travel. Live in a fucking van and smoke pot all day. Maybe buy land in some cheap ass state like Idaho or Wyoming.

Ayn Rand's rape fantasy

The character inspired the nation's best and brightest to leave the nation and go off-grid to his hidden compound, to continue their work, making amazing advances in technology and science without the "art-by-committee" thinking that was slowly strangling the world's ability to progress.
Galt succeeds and heralds in the collapse of society, no engineers to repair the bridges or to keep the power plants operational, no railroad strategists so all commerce ceased.
His famous phrase would be scrawled on walls across the US: "Who is John Galt?" As these people left with him one by one.

Did this last year. Managed to not pay any taxes for the year. Felt like quite the achievement when I got my final tax declaration back - government owed ME £200. Winning.
I have to go back to the coal-face now though, my FU money has Fuck U'd and left me :p.

Anything will “sell” if it’s at the right price. If it isn’t selling it isn’t at the right price. Raise the price, and it’ll sell - simple as that.

"Hiring today means you have to convince someone to leave their job, leave school, or get off the couch. And if the incentive isn’t sufficiently large, it is hard to find a new employee."
There is no way in hell I could just simply sit on the couch. I like eating too much. This writer is on some really excellent drugs.
