The only point of disagreement I might have is that they didn't really HAVE any tricks in the bag other than this.

They spent a couple days grandstanding and virtue signaling, but this 40 year old deep dig on anything they can use to delay the nomination until their vaunted 'blue wave' arrives is a pure desperation play because just like Gorsuch they can't really argue that he's incompetent, and they can't find any opinion or ruling that shows bad performance, so all they have is character attacks, and in this day and age trying to re-litigate Anita Hill seems like the only move for them to play.

Laughing off a potential rape or sexual molestation doesnt make you a man, it makes you a huge piece of shit. Realize the difference.
