I think there have been serious studies that show most men find the average 16 year old female most sexually attractive. It makes sense from a evolutionary biological standpoint, as well as the psychological stance that the age groups we find sexually attractive starts at the age we start having serious sexual attraction (usually 14-18 years old) and grows up from there.

I personally wouldn't date anyone below 25 or so (being 37) because of the social bullshit attached, but I certainly find those at /r/LegalTeens quite attractive. There is a very big difference from that and the way that the normalization of so-called "pedophilia culture". Firstly, he isn't actually referring to pedophilia, but rather using that label to shame normal people. It's fucking gross that people throw that word around.

The normalization of attraction to younger girls comes in no small part from the rampant use of much older girls to play "innocent" types in the media. High school students played by very hot 20 somethings happens all the time. Lots of late teens playing tweens. It's all over. Next time you see a hot chick that is suppose to be 16 in a movie, TV show, or Netflix. google how old she actually was when she did the part. Natalia Dyer is 21 playing a high school student for instance, but it happens everywhere. The new "young wife" of the driver in The Handmaid's Tale was a 20 something. It's everywhere I look and it's part of the problem.
