My mistake, I suppose I didn't now enough about where you're coming from to know what you meant by that first statement. That works well because I'm here out of curiosity really. I enjoy learning new ideas wether I agree with them or not. I've found several topics that men's rights groups push that surprise me. I found that I agree with the fact that men get royally fucked in divorces and most particularly when kids are involved. This led me to wonder what you guys who have written off the whole concept of marriage would have to say about it all.
For me marriage has been awesome. I'm 10 years in with a wife I love more all the time. My life has been constantly improving since I first met my wife. You've probably had a few friendships like that. There are some people who just click and understand each other well enough to really help each other live a better life. When I made a friend like that I also found physically attractive I decided real quick to propose. All evidence so far tells me that was a great decision. She's been amazing.
I can understand wanting to avoid a risky legal contract, but I am baffled by how many guys around here have given up on finding a friend like that who they get to also have sex with. There are plenty of shitty women out there, but there are also plenty of great women. I think I'll keep coming around to share the other side of the coin. If you guys have lost the ability to believe that women can be decent human beings you've slipped down the same slope as the feminists. Perhaps I'll stick around and see if I can't help bring a less radical viewpoint to the discussion.

If there were plenty of great women, we wouldn't have more marriages failing than succeeding would we? Note that women file the majority of divorces. How many men get married to their 'unicorn' only to find out after that it was all an act?

Do you believe women are capable of maintaining a logical frame of mind, and can temper and override their emotions all the time?
Do you believe that men and society view men as disposable?
Do you believe that the family court system is baised against men?
How many destroyed lives due to the whims of an emotional woman is too many?
In your view, how many times would a person need to get divorce raped of all his assets, have his family and children weaponised against him before he calls it quits on having anything to do with women?

I also don't see the issue with open relationships. I don't think it's really for me, but if two people want to be sluts together I say more power to them. My point was feminists want to change how men treat them. #MeToo is entirely about promiscuity and giving women the power to use their promiscuity and sexual appeal as a weapon.
