Based on the ponytail, I'm guessing that's a woman.
Funny, because that does seem to be the target demographic for divorce lawyers.

the wife's representative stands to gain more than the husband and if he's male a chance to screw her if she's decent-looking

That's who I'd target if I was a divorce lawyer with no soul. Easy to manipulate and the systems involved can't WAIT to steal money and give it to them.

It might be a male democrat.

there should be some kind of large penalty for divorce. like the old dowery system we used to have.
i've been "in love" many times and almost engaged 2 times, the AWALT nature of women always scared me away though. mostly i took the concept of "till death do us part" as something very important and literal when getting married. you should ONLY get married if you can keep that oath. now women treat that like some meaningless blabber we say on our wedding day, when those 5 words should be the most important words you ever say in your life.

Thought #YOLO died back in 2013
[–]labiteatibit10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It did, but we didn't bury it deep enough.
[–]nosoupforyou6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It came back to life? Are you saying YOLO doesn't live only once?!
[–]labiteatibit0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Apparently not, it lives again...

I thought that ad seemed a bit flip until I noticed what I think is a female in the pic. Makes sense. It’s like: Bored? Get a divorce!

Encourage her to take up rock climbing and hang gliding before the divorce goes through.

BUT WHERE ARE ALL THE GOOD MEN?

I wonder if a billboard with a picture of a man hiking in some beautiful secluded location with
r/MGTOW
on it would pass scrutiny.

Only in Illinois

Hahaha, man I would DIE laughing if I saw that on the side of the road.
With the statistics out, getting married is honestly so damn scary. Even with a prenup which especially here in California has often been proved to be worthless, I just don't see the point.
Let's say you find your so called "soulmate" or "unicorn" or whatever bullshit rationalization you have made up in your head. Why would you sign a document that doesn't DO anything positive.
I guess the tax thing could be a positive .... but if you both make good money, getting married is actually a negative. Sister and her husband were telling me about it, they lost quite a bit when they filed for marriage tax wise.
But other than that, what? Being married doesn't do anything differently to your life at all, all it does is give you an obligation that a break up will be messy, long and expensive.
