It is something that all women have called "innate skepticism bias". Another thing you need to keep in mind is that her words mean squat. never believe, judge or act on women's words ONLY their actions. Her actions will always show her real thoughts. You could have said, “so break up with him”. It’s normal for them to not let go of a boyfriend even if they don’t like him anymore until they have a new guy lined up. If she had the exclusive talk with him and didn’t break up before going on a date with you then she’s a cheater. If she did it for you she’ll likely do it to you.

its completely fucked that we keep putting the responsibility of “making the move” on men. this is inherently a fucked up power dynamic. do not pursue women, just dont. men somehow forgot tat were the prize, were the ones who build, work, innovate, and somehow we also have to beg women for their attention? they should be begging for ours, its not like they provide anything themselves. they overestimated their value honestly.
