My first contact with MGTOW was after reading The Book of Pook. I used to be into PUA stuff, it worked but I always felt the focus was way too much on getting laid. Like that was some ultimate life goal somehow. But Pook stuck with me, even ten years later I come back to read his stuff sometimes.

I'm not a great writer, especially in English since its not my native language, so bear with me. That being said here are some learnings and self reflections from the past ten years.

Have goals, and work towards them, you deserve to have goals and you deserve to reach them. You owe that to yourself. For me that was my career. Ask yourself what you can do today to reach your goals. I now am top 1% earner in my country. I work with something I love and something I'm great at. My work impacts hundreds of millions of people and I get to travel the world doing it.

Take care of yourself. Go to the gym. Go see a therapist. You deserve to feel great and you owe it to yourself to seek out the help you need. I never saw myself as the kind of person who needed to see a therapist but I went anyway, because I wanted help with some self discipline stuff. It really helps, I can't recommend this enough.

Be nice to people, and be helpful. You will get more friends, and it will change your life.

Be as honest as you can. The more you lie, even about meaningless stuff, the more it will eat you up inside.

Give meaningful feedback to people. If someone does something great, let them know what they did, and the impact it had. If you do this you give people around you permission to be their best selves.

Dedicate a day once in a while to yourself. Sometimes I call in sick to work, go to my favourite breakfast place and then spend the day alone, reading books and working on my projects.
