Just my opinion, but the stupid thing would've been to ask her out. A decade ago, I would've just asked her out and if she rejected me, no big deal, end of story. These days you can theoretically go to jail for it.

The fact that you decided to factor in her body language, regardless of the cause, and decided to not go ahead with it, was smart, in my opinion.

No. Not a mistake. What your describing is "monk mode". Sounds to me your still interested in a relationship so monk mode won't be good for you.

MGTOW is about betting your self and giving you knowledge about women. If you use that info well, you can have a successful relationship with the RIGHT women.

Sounds like you're being pretty hard on yourself. You're also making assumptions about what she's thinking (that she thinks you're desperate and so is intentionally avoiding you). Could be something completely different or something that has nothing to do with you. Maybe you were never really on her radar to begin with, for instance. Or maybe she was distracted. Who knows. It could be a hundred different things. It might just be your own insecurity being projected (imagined as coming from her, that is).

Try to avoid "mind-reading" and assuming you know what other people are thinking about you. I promise, you are usually wrong.
