Why do people still have dinner dates in 2018? I see guys taking girls out for dinner to restaurants all the time and it makes no sense. Usually a guy would expect sex for paying for a meal, but that usually doesn't even happen.

Can't the woman cook dinner for the man, and then they could both eat it? Or simply eat dinner before meeting?

It doesn't make sense to me. I don't see any reason to stuff a girls mouth full of free food for them to get fat. Girls should be fasting.

I personally see no reason to support the restaurant industry, and have never taken a girl out to eat. Dinner dates seem like something from the 1950s in my opinion.
