Inner peace

Forming a strong relationship, whether or not it is romantic, always leads to a strong possibility or increased internal instability. This is because in order to form a strong relationship you need to genuinely care for another individual. Therefore, because you cannot control the actions of another, if you care for them, they can destabilize you with harmful actions towards you or even by harming themselves. Women tend to be more prone to mental health issues and emotional/irrational decision making thus caring for the average woman is likely to introduce instability more so than caring for a man. Additionally, romantic relationships add additional complications which can result in more stuff going wrong or your emotional connection being much stronger. Thus, if you want to enter a relationship with someone, especially a romantic relationship, it is important to have found a sort of “inner peace”. This “inner peace” is not some grandiose mystical thing where your life will instantly be 100% bearable and you will be levitating or whatvever. By “inner peace” I mean a stable sense of self, emotional control, mental adaptability, and a good understanding of what makes you you. Entering a relationship without that matured sense of self is almost certain to at least make your life worse or at most cause it to degrade into total chaos and suffering.
