It's the world's oldest profession; it's not going anywhere, especially in a place that either has a poor economy (eg, Greece) or currency that ain't worth much (eg, Thailand). You're probably just looking in the wrong places. Where are the right places? I don't know, but I'll bet if you spend some time googling, you can find them.

I am not at all versed in prostitution... but, may I suggest to you it's the simple economic reality of people moving to better paying countries ?

If I'm a whore in, say, Prague, and I get paid x$ for my work during an average day... I can probably just take a 20$ flight to London (or some other large & rich city) and get paid 3*x$ for the same work.

In the case of other professionals this isn't true, since they usually have things tying them down (house, family... etc), but sex workers aren't known for living a "traditional" lifestyle generally speaking, at least I think that's a reasonable guess.

So you're simply not going to find many sex workers in poor European countries (or at least the quality will suck) because they'd see no reason to be there. The ones that are there, probably either seem expensive (since they are charging global market value) or ugly (aka they can't sell their product on their global market, their best bet is staying local).

I'd assume this would be only a hick-up on a large timescale, since freedom of movement between Europe and Asia (and cheap flights, more importantly), means there are probably armies of African and Asian sex workers which would love to work anywhere in Europe because it pays much more (and the most expensive markets might be over-saturated, so they'll be just fine settling for the least expensive ones).

At least, that's how I'd think it would work, but, again, I'm not versed in this particular market.

I've never been with a hooker because in order for me to get have a meaningful sex, I'd have to have some familiarity or "connection" with a woman. Otherwise, I'd rather get myself off so yeah, hookers are irrelevant to me...

to me part of what makes getting laid amazing is that I "convinced" a woman to sleep with me, willingly, without a bribe, and she actually wants to be there. She might even want to stay after were done, or even come back and do it again.

Hey, neighbor, am living in Germany, and the brothels here are not thriving either. Hookers get worse and worse. Most of them are either older Russian women or young Romanian ones. The latter in 90% of all cases are not enjoying their job, so they cannot offer what I need. If the hooker scene is drying up, then it would mean that real hook ups take more place, but is that true? - I really doubt that. Maybe less men are willing to buy hookers and more interested in going their own way 🤷‍♂️

Prices have gone up dramatically, due to this many men simply cannot afford the high-quality girls. Men simply do not earn the same level of income they used to to justify spending on hookers anymore. They just cannot afford it and getting cheap sex is not difficult if you are okay looking in today's day and age. Lesser time for hook ups but easier to get depending on looks and ur ability to dedicate time to getting laid. Definitely try East Asia or Colombia or DR or USA - these are places where sex is still doing great as a business and is affordable.

London, UK. From what I've seen it's a mixed bag: there's still bunch of lower-end workers from eastern Europe, but escorts in general have just become more expensive (mainly because monkey see, monkey do).
