Good morning everyone, I hope all is well.

I had a thought come to mind and I wanted to gather some opinions. I don’t visit here often so please forgive me if this is repetitive or unoriginal.

I’m sure at least some people here are familiar with James Mattis, the famous US Marine Corps General. He’s spoken on numerous occasions to his devotion to studying war and has been venerated as a modern “warrior monk”. He’s not married and has no kids. He does, however, have an impressive skill set when it comes to the profession of warfighting, a precise application of violence.

Do you think that the MGTOW monk ideology and his warrior monk ideologies can go hand in hand? If you close yourself off to learn how to better lead men and kill people, are you at the same time succeeding in “going your own way”? Does one lead to the other? Are they mutually exclusive?

I personally believe that they can go hand in hand in that it can be an unintended consequence. If I unconsciously shun women because I want to be a better officer and warrior, am I accomplishing 2 goals at once? Or because I did not set out specifically to avoid women am I at risk of “relapse”?

Any discussion or thoughts are appreciated, even if it’s just telling me I’m full of it.
