Seems consistent with the plan of the powers that be to slow population growth (endless growth being unsustainable). I guess sperm banks having a 90+% rejection rate isn't enough to dissuade men from trying to send some of their DNA into the future.

Consider this quote from the late and renowned scientist, Carl Sagan (taken from his last book, ‘Billions and Billions’, published in 1997) with reference to overpopulation:

"Our job is to bring about a worldwide demographic transition and flatten out that exponential curve—by eliminating grinding poverty, making safe and effective birth control methods widely available, and extending real political power (executive, legislative, judicial, military, and in institutions influencing public opinion) to women. If we fail to bring about a worldwide demographic transition... some other process, less under our control, will do it for us."

Yeah, protect your sperm so as not to be taken advantage by a woman. But elevating biological fatherhood to the point where a wet dream is some sort of immense loss that we should grieve -- what a crock.

Fuck that I say don't donate at all simply because your future self will never be able to afford it.

A number of cases recently have gone through the courts in different countries where a donor was held accountable for costs like child support. There are a number of countries now which are changing laws to make the donor non anonymous so you donate and in 18 years have some stranger turn up on your doorstep.

Along with the increase of women choosing sperm donors and if you believe the lie that women are more adversely affected by economic downturns, guess who's going to find themselves getting dragged through courts to pay child support.

The other factor that needs to be taken into account is this, if women want to get alone without men then fine, why give them what they want, why give them the right to say a man is nothing but a sperm donor, better to take that away as well. If the Marxists want the decline then let them have it, let them have all of the decline they can handle.

There was one moment in my life, I considered this idea, but after some thought, I'd try imagining myself being placed with the different types of people that I assume would do this (lesbians, late mothers & gays).

Putting next to them a individual that in some sense is similar to myself and I realized how much I would hate the circumstance and question what went wrong.

That thought of "placing me" in those circumstances was enough to push me off the entire idea.

If you hate the sort of family situations people keep perpetuating in this age, I Strongly advise AGAINST it.

I'm 5'8 and my parents were drug addicts. Doubt they would want my low tier genes anyway, but the sketchy legal ground doesn't make it any more appealing.
