I don’t care for commercialized holidays whatsoever, and my immediate family knows this. Christmas means nothing to me, thanksgiving means nothing, Mother’s/Fathers Day mean nothing, and valentines day is a joke. I’ve missed birthdays and Father’s Day, so when I missed Mother’s Day, she shouldn’t have been surprised.

It’s not like I even missed it. I remembered towards the end of the day and said “oh yea, happy Mother’s Day!” but she was NOT having it. She bitched and complained about how I should be old enough to remember... as if it makes a difference. My dad even tried telling her how it’s not a big deal but she insisted that it was. It’s BS because she was the one to remind me of when my dads birthday was coming and when Father’s Day was around the corner, but when it came to Mother’s Day, it’s treated like a fucking shit test.

I don’t miss Father’s Day, my dads birthday, or my moms birthday anymore, I have them marked on my calendar, I just didn’t have Mother’s Day on it. It’s such a fucking joke.. I find it mind boggling how someone can expect so much from a commercial holiday. I’m not her only child ether, I have a sister who took for out for dinner in the city, something I’d never do because, again, I don’t care for it.

So now I’m stuck in a house with a women who thinks ‘The silent treatment’ will get to me... and it won’t. She hasn’t spoken a word to me since Mother’s Day. You know, just when I thought I was done with the bs of women, my own mother shit tests me... I’m just fucking done. I bought her a belated Mother’s Day card but I’m not giving it to her until she snaps out of her imaginary world.
