Just a few messed up things I've witnessed recently.

• Watching TV with a female family member. There's a scene of a woman verbally abusing her husband for minutes on end. Female family member laughs hysterically the whole time. The husband on the show finally responds in an equally abrasive, but totally fair way. Female family member angrily says, "Wow..."

• Watching a different show with same female family member. On the show there are several men who are rude to people, and after each instance of this my female family member says things like, "What a dick" and "Jerk" and "Asshole" and "Such a prick." Then a woman on the show is introduced, and she is the most evil person you can imagine. My female family member softly says, "Her thoughts don't align with her actions..."

• Spoke with a woman about my friend whose girlfriend treats him like garbage. The woman I'm talking to says, "Are you sure she's not acting that way BECAUSE OF HOW HE TREATS HER??"

And these are just three recent experiences. Tiny ones. I have loads more.
