For those who don't get it or can't be bothered to listen, essentially he talks about how since the Enlightenment period, we've been in an increasingly post-modernistic era. Basically an era where we reject or are increasingly skeptical of overarching meta-narratives. That could be anything from culturally accepted norms to accepted systems of political governance, to accepted religious views. It could apply to virtually anything really.

Now admitidly, I question his affiliation with China, as later on it seems clear he's largely sympathetic with them as a country in the midst of all this. Nonetheless it doesn't detract from the salience of his point, whether it be partly inspired by some form of propaganda or not. As I watched further I quickly realized that MGTOW itself is just another rejection of a set of culturally accepted norms (ironically just as feminism was) and that both MGTOW and feminism are just conditions of living in an increasingly post-modernistic and therefor meta-narrative rejecting society. Further to that, much of this was apparently (haven't read it yet) predicted by a French philosopher named Lyotard.

I don't know precisely what I'm trying to say as such, though I am aware that beyond MGTOW vs feminism, this rejecting of anything and everything will get worse in the decades to come. Regardless, anyone who has any background in post-modernism, it'd be interesting to hear your views.
