So today i was riding my motorcycle around the town and rode past a big stray dog then a few hundred meters further rode past a young woman with a baby carriage going towards that dog. First thought to myself she will figure it out on her own, i dont know them, its not my problem . A second later, i was like nah man, that dog might attack them. So i turned around quickly, rode up to the women, got off the bike and told the woman that there is a big german shephard running around just around the corner, came to make sure everything gonna be all right. She stopped and got scared, went up to her and told her there won't be any trouble, just follow me. So i went ahead and she followed. I was ready to scare or fight off the dog if it decided to turn hostile. Im no stranger to violence or confrontation im also a tall fairly muscular guy, confident in my abilities to defend myself. But there was no need for any of that because the dog showed no interest messing with us, we went past safely and she was very grateful, saying thank you very much. I just nodded at her and told her take care. Went back to my bike and rode off.

Just wanted to share this with someone, it felt really nice. It came very natural for me to protect the weaker no matter if i might get injured. I had no intention to impress this woman, i just didn't want them to get hurt. And this story made me remember that men really are disposable, we are programmed to sacrifice ourselves for the safety and well-being of the weaker, women, children, and old people.

Ive done things like this in the past, putting my health or even my life on the line for the well-being of others. For complete strangers actually. Everytime i risked my health for a greater cause, i felt amazing afterwards.
