Everything here was supposed to disappear. Banned subreddits, deleted communities, cancelled blogs — much of what is archived here survives nowhere else.

It stays free — no paywall, no account — for the next man who comes looking, the way it was free for you.

I pay for the servers, the storage and the bandwidth myself. If you want this record still standing in ten years, become one of the people who keeps it online.

So tempted to post this on my facebook wall right now.

I'm losing 2.5lbs a week and doing stronglifts and I'm not even hungry. Hell sometimes I feel like I'm stuffing myself.

While I agree with the personal responsibility aspect of this 100%, I think the reason we see so many overweight people all around us is not entirely due to them making poor exercise or calorie choices. Something has changed in the last several generations. It triggers the same addictive reaction in the brain as drugs and food producers are exploiting it.

Being overweight is 100% based on poor food choices. Garbage in = garbage results.

This isn't the fifteenth century, where we treat disease with leeches and have no idea how our bodies work.

If someone is struggling with losing weight in the "traditional" sense of calorie-restrictions and exercise, I'd suggest owning up to their present failures and lurking around /r/keto for a while.

Uhhh this isn't the 15th century but you still have to hunt to find a doctor that doesn't regurgitate the 1960s thinking that fat causes obesity and heart disease. People with diabetes are still being told to count their calories and that grains are good for them.

I'd suggest r/keto and r/lowcarb too, but it's another thing altogether to blame people when 95% of the food and professional advice they get is wrong.
