Well, first consider that some folks in Europe after World War 2 had even less to work with. It helps to have perspective.

So I'd say the first step is to find gainful employment. Even if it's a low end job it at least gets some money coming in and, hopefully, keeps you off the streets.

If you did reach out to family, would they be willing to assist?
