So first things first, I am an 18 year old Male that has basically no life experience at all.

At primaryschool and early high school, my social circle was very limited and I've had struggles with socializing ever since.

Then, when I was 14, I heavily got into drugs. At first Weed, then all kinds of other, much harder stuff. It initally worked wonders on my anxiety and suddenly I had a big group of "Friends", which was a entirely new, but great feeling.

This didn't last long at all tho, becaus my decreased brain capacity from copious amount of weed made me fail school, which in turn made me quit when I was 15 1/2.

My life greatly improved after that, because I also switched schools to leave my former social circle behing to truly move on from the substance abuse.

At first, the new school was pretty great for me. I got good grades and made several friends there.

After that, I decided on pursuing a higher education there, because in my country it is much easier to be hired with the degree you get from that. (It is too damn convoluted to thouroughlly explain here)

This made me switch class to get said degree without doing any actual research on what I was getting myself into.

And guess what happen: I was put into a class where there are ONLY Girls except me. Naturally, that's absolutely awful, because being around women as an ugly guy is just extremly drainig for me.

I've now been there since almost 2 years, and the only thing I did was sitting in the back of class with my headphones blasting Hard Rock to not be forced to listen to the carcophany of all those annoying high pitched voices that make me want to bash my head against a wall of reinforced concrete.

To make things even worse, I started to notice symptoms of schizophreniay which I thouroughlly researched, more and more, likely coming from my massive levels of stress due to school and really early usage of weed and other drugs. (Both big risk factors)

For example talking to voices in my head for hours when I'm alone, or hearing someone calling my name when I'm lying in bed, even though I'm the only person there. I don't want to get medication tho, because those voices are the closest thing to having a "person" with whom I can actually discuss those things.

My family is sadly not helping at all. When I told my mother about those issues approximatly one year ago she just said (QUOTE!!!) "You sound like a little girl waiting for her Prince to rescue her. Just BE A MAN!"

I ain't doing that shit again irl, EVER!.

So after probably boring you with this random sutff from some dumb stranger, I'd like to ask for some specific advice:

  1. What kinds of hobbys could you recommend to me for having a distraction from all that? (Preferably something productive in the long run)

  2. Should I try talking to my family about possibly having schizophrenia, or just try to wait for it to (maybe) pass?

  3. How could I cope with the situation at school in a somewhat normal way, since I only have roughly 2 years left?

I apologize for wasting your time and my bad English.
