I've considered talking to "professionals" about all this, but I would rather real-world advice to questions I don't know the answer to, as someone out there may have some insight, me posting on this sub might not be the answer, but at the very least might help me vent.

Please don't take this as a flex as some would say, I just want to paint a picture.

I'm married to a loving wife, I have a very prospective job, we own two houses, we own all our assets, we have had the children discussion and decided we don't want that, we have two beautiful pets (dachshunds, seriously these guys are awesome), we consider ourselves well in order for those in our late 30's....

But I'm miserable... almost every day in the last 6 months has been soul crushing, almost to the point that I've wanted to take the less then desirable way out, and I don't know why. I put up the facade that everything is fine, we have been together that long now she sees straight through it.

I don't know how to explain it, I don't know what it is, and I don't know where to start.

This isn't a case of not been able to provide as she earns more than I do (if that's considered a factor), and I couldn't be happier for her in this regard, she worked her ass off for it.

Is it a case of not feeling in-adequate? maybe, but it's always been reinforced between each other that status means nothing, we love each other for who we are.

But still, somethings killing me, and I don't know what.

I think I just need to speak to someone, but I don't know who, if anyone could point me in the right direction, more so the Australia region would be most appreciated.

Hell, I'm even down for a chat, because why not.
