I am unsure of "helping" which may mean various things either harmless or toxic, but "man who takes care of me who I don’t need to take care of" is obviously a request for an unequal chivalrous one-sided relationship, women like these do not even deserve consideration as potential partners. they meant they wanted you to provide and protect them but at the same time they did not want to do the same for you...

that is the opposite of equality and equity in a relationship. they expected you to put more effort, time and money to the table than them.

you deserve better partners who treat you the way they expect you to treat them.

I agree with the other commenter. These are girls with issues, not women. A woman will do anything she can for the one she loves, just as a man would do if the one he loves. It's easier said than done when you're faced with the hurt, disappointment & all that goes with what you're experiencing, but know that things will get better- you'll find a good one someday. 🍻

I still get confused as to why they stay in 2-10 year abusive relationships, but when I come around and show them affection, good dates, and loyalty I get ghosted and told "they aren't ready for a serious relationship."

Can anyone help me? lol The one thing that annoys me about that is I get in my own head and self-sabotage. Stop going to the gym, stop eating, on dating sites just looking for someone to acknowledge me or atripclub because my confidence is -6.

My fellow men. I seriously need guy friends cuz its a hard struggle trying to keep out the negative thoughts sometimes that I'll never be good enough. 33, no kids, combat vet... It doesnt help that getting told Im too short or broke because im not making 500k/yr so what should I do?
