I'm not pro life but I don't support abortion.. I mean I would if we had death penalty (I'm. Not from the US).. But to be legal to terminate an unborn life.. Who hasn't make anything wrong its just morally unacceptable for me.. While terminating the life of a rapist.. Serial killer.. And so on is "morally unaceptable".. I mean it should go both ways..

I'm gonna say no, it wouldn't end well.

There's a lot of self-care that has to go into that 9 months of pregnancy, that will be guaranteed to NOT happen should a woman be force to carry a baby they do not want. People tend to get self-destructive when they're miserable, which pregnancy can make someone as a way to sabotage the pregnancy. There's going to be a higher risk of SIDS, deformities, low birth weight, and a host of other complications due to eating improperly or doing drugs careless to her charge.

It also gives incentive to claim rape as a way to terminate a pregnancy.

It's not legal to force a woman to carry a baby to term but more can be done in way of the fathers.

For example, mandatory the father be notified of the woman's intent. He may not want the child, but he has a right to grieve it's loss.

If the man does want the child, an option could be to ensure he can pay for all medical expenses during and immediately after the pregnancy, the mother get paid maternity leave while she recoups. Some women may agree to that. That's the really sucky thing about legal abortion, willing men are denied the chance to be fathers.

Similarly, in the event of women wanting to keep the child but the man wants her to about, signed and notarized documentation the man encouraged abortion/adoption and is not financially responsible for the child if mom keeps it.

I do feel that if a woman has numerous abortions, tubes tied or time to raise a kid.

I don't think the answer is to give men control over what the woman can/can't do. Rather, it should be about changing how men are held responsible in various situations.

As an absolute minimum, it'd be great if male victims of rape didn't have to pay child support to their rapist (however rare/common that might be)

They have exactly the same amount of control of their bodies as women do. The rights that permit abortion are the same rights that keep the state from punishing you with forced organ/blood/skin donation.

You have an absolute right to control the use of your own body in a medical situation. You cannot be forced to allow the use of your body for the benefit of another, even if that other person would die. Anything that is in your body is yours and cannot be taken from you by a court or authorities.

This right is so absolute that you cannot even be compelled to donate waste products, like feces, until they are no longer in your body. Again, it doesn't matter if the other person will die without it. It cannot be compelled.

So, granting women the same degree of rights means that they can choose to have their womb vacated. Legally, this isn't the right to kill the fetus, just the right to get their womb back. That means that under different circumstances, the outcome would be different.

For example, it would take a while, but an artificial womb that a fetus could be transferred into would change the face of abortion in the US. It would highlight the legal rights that people don't have.

Abort your baby into a flask? You're still their parent. People do not have a legal right to decide to end their parenthood. Both parents would pay for medical care for the fetus and eventual child, and they would both be on the hook for child support. That part of the law is already worked out with precedent in most places.

If a family is already going through processing by family courts and something happens that renders both parents unacceptable caretakers, but they have a relative who can take care of any children, both parents will be on the hook for child support. This is because the right to support is a right the child has, rather than a particular parent. The money is given to the care and use of the parent who (usually) has the child living with them the majority of the time.

Tl;dr Women's right to abortion and to stop from becoming a parent is de facto rather than de jure, the law around how abortion works is more complicated, less sexist, and better understood than laypeople think.
