The other day I had gone out to eat and the cashier was a man while the manager was a woman. The cashier did or said something the manager didn't like, so she took a tray and hit him in the arm with it. She wasn't trying to hurt him, but he objected to what she had done, which she responded that it didn't hurt him, and he responded it actually did while he looked at his arm.

What this man faced wasn't major physical abuse or anything like that and I don't think it should be blown out of proportion, however, I think she did cross the line. Technically, it was abuse. And it made me think, we always hear stats about domestic violence abuse at home, but are there self-reported stats of abuse at work? (Most abuse at work wouldn't be reported.) Typically if a man acted like that he probably wouldn't get away with it. So does anybody know of any stats like this?
