I read this as a guy who was an MRA simply because he was bitter, and he failed to address serious issues with feminism. "Patriarchy hurts men too." Yes, but patriarchy isn't really a sound theory, is it? If feminism really did recognize that it isn't quite that simple because sexism against both sexes exists all over the place and that men really do need a voice (that we aren't getting) then the MRM has nothing to stand on. For that one account of going from the MRM to feminism, I have seen countless accounts of people--men and women--going from feminism to the MRM. There is no inherent gender privilege anymore. In one form or another, men and women both are discriminated against. However, men don't get much of a voice.
In fact, the ways that women are discriminated against predominantly consist of ways that indicate that women are valuable, and the ways that men are discriminated against are ways that predominantly indicate that men are disposable. This is portrayed as a way to assert power over women because apparently we live in a bizarro world in which the oppressors put their subjects on a pedestal at significant real world damage to themselves. It's absolute bullshit.

The ironic thing is that a feminist psychological article recognized that there is such thing as reverse sexism. Well, to be entirely precise, they said "reversal of sexism".
