I've known my friend for about 2 years now. Real standup guy, our boys play together - he's really a good dad. He gets his son every other weekend as it is, though he'd like more even full custody if possible.

His son's mother doesn't want him to have any visitation. All she seems to want is for him not to be able to see his son while he continues to pay a crippling amount of child support (considering she lied about her actual income and resources).

Her family has a lot more resources and is able to make my friend's life a living hell. He's been depressed not wanting to get out of bed, spent all of his savings, and due to all the bullshit (court order co-parenting counseling, all the DCS cases ), he's been finding it unrealistic to run his construction business.

She's making his life living hell, I know this is pretty typical in the family court system for fathers. I know a lot of you have been through it, or are currently going through it.

I'm mainly making this post, so I can show him he's not alone.

I'm not soliciting donations, but I also helped him set up a go fund me page. I've advised him to get rid of his current lawyer and get a real bulldog - as he's a really solid guy with integrity but he needs a lawyer that will fight 'dirty' to get him rights to visit his son.
