Last week a story was shared about a woman. A woman who had the baby blues and had just been divorced with. She left a note and planned to drive herself and her two kids in to the water. She succeeded. The thread, especially the first 50-100 comments were mainly sympathisers.

Heres a very similar story, a man with mental health issues, big arguement with his partner, took it out on the kids. Sympathy for him? No. Don't get me wrong, good to see some points about male mental health and how it's not seen as an epidemic on the same scale it would be if it were women suffering more.

All I've said in there is that women are given sympathy more than males, even when the crime is the same. Wow, the abuse I'm recieiving is incredible, words put in my mouth left, right and center. I wasn't even sticking up for men, especially not that man inparticular for obvious reason. No excusing killing your kids.

Everyone is of the opinion however that he must've been a POS because he had a domestic abuse charge. I highlighted a lot of men probably do, men you'd never think would harm anyone get caught up in some bullshit, doesn't make them a walking red flag.
