I particularly am interested as to whether women are more likely to vote for other women, and whether men are more likely to vote for other men.

A common feminist talking point is that politics is sexist because there are more men in government. However, the majority of the electorate is female. Excluding the fact that men are overall more likely to stand for election in the first place, do we know anything about how gender affects the vote?
