There's lots of information, statistics, and studies on both sides of this age old debate; but, as I see it, whatever information is put forth, the debate comes down to a single argument: Antibiotics versus human sacrifice.

EDIT: In case some of you did not know, MGM kills about 100 infants in America each year; I would expect fewer in other first world countries, and more through the Middle East and Africa, but I do not know.
