There are plenty of arguments worth having, especially if you're like me and discussion is part of your process; however, I've noticed that some topics are completely unworthy of attention, and any discussion will amount to little more than an angry circle jerk. I'm going to present one such argument, as it's fresh, but I'd love if you lords and ladies added your own!

Makeup, if this discussion leads anywhere, it will most likely be to insanity. There is evidence and opinion on every side of this issue, from it being a patriarchal expectation, to "fuck you, women don't wear makeup to please men!" That women use makeup to cheat the system of human nature which values attractive and neotenous traits, and even that self-consciousness (and makeup as a solution) is somehow completely separate from being viewed by other people. And I could go on...

To be fair, I haven't pursued the argument of men wearing makeup (will do!), but at least when it comes to makeup and women, you're better off changing the subject.
