Australia's new E-safety commissioner is targeting online violence in social media. Recently she has demanded that Twitter show how online social media violence is being addressed on that platflorm. To back up her demands, the E-Safety commissioner has new wide ranging powers at her disposal.

Addressing online violence is a good thing. But when the E-Safety commissioner is a hard line feminist who believes only women and girls, LGBTIQ+, people with disabilities and other marginalised people (everyone but men and boys) are worthy of protecting, it casts doubts on her motivations and agenda.

Given her obvious bias against men and boys, openly evident in her decision that men and boys are not victims of online violence, but are the typical perpetrators, how long until MRAs are targeted for daring to oppose and criticise feminism?

This "E-safety commission" was originally set up to help protect children from some of the nasties of the internet. Unfortunately, like many other organisations in Australia, it was taken over by feminists & now focuses on feminist causes instead.

The woman in charge has stated that she is in favour of "recalibrat[ing] ... a whole range of human rights" including freedom of speech and is a feminist extremist. So in answer to your question, yeah , MRAs are in the firing line.

"Online violence"? How the hell do you harm someone over the internet? I mean, you DO know that putting a bullet through someone's head in a video game doesn't hurt them in reality, right?

Insofar as the linked article never once refers to violence and instead talks about hate, this just comes across as trying to demonize Australia's attitudes about free speech. They do NOT need your help with that.
