Being someone who has had a good laugh at those cards, Don't take her posting them too seriously.

However, that being said. If you're really offended by them, try politely bringing it up to her, ask her about the cards shes been posting. See how she responds and act accordingly.

While I haven't seen the e-cards, and don't care enough to look them up right now, I wouldn't say the "instructions" are blatently sexist. They are merely humor and show a mix of a mother and a father both doing some of the right things and some of the wrong things.

By my count I saw 8 things the father was doing the wrong way, and 7 the mother was doing the wrong way (not counting the nursing, for semi-obvious reasons).

I count 7 times the mother doing the right thing, and five for the father. The rest are pretty much just hands or the baby sitting there with no indication.

Other than the Nursing (again, semi-obvious), there is only one instance where the mother is shown doing the right thing, and the father is shown doing the wrong thing. All other cases only show the hands or nothing, and can mildly be assumed to be the hands of the person shown in the other picture.

Maybe you should gently point out the sexism, comparing it to stuff like "women can't drive" and "women can't do math".

If babies had instructions most women wouldn't have any.

Alot of girls i know that have kids either don't care, had a baby cause her friends had one, or just did it for attention. Alot of the guys i know love their kids and work hard to raise them. I don't know why fathers get a bad rap in commercials cause alot of them don't show the average father.

I guess this is funny now. I don't get it. Every time I don't fast-forward through commercials, I think to myself 'beer/shampoo/deodorant/razor/car/film companies think all men are morons'. A penis, apparently, makes you either incompetent at performing basic tasks or blinds you to the fact that the Irish Spring ad features more boobs than soap.
