Indian court sentences a woman to 10 years in prison for murdering her handicap son. She initially tried to justify her action by blaming him of trying to molest her. The truth came out later that she wanted him dead for insurance money and hide her extra marital affair.

Only one Indian actor so far had the courage to say "I don't fear being judged as a misogynist" He has just released his 4th movie with theme of women who take advantage of men.

In the name of protecting Muslim women, Indian Government has passed a Triple Talaq ordinance where a Muslim woman can send her husband to jail just by claiming he uttered Talaq word. As arresting men will be easy and bail difficult this law will become extortion tool like Indian dowry law.

It is just that chivalrous cultures makes complicated societal structures that force men go through dog hoops to get at women and vice versa, poor among Indians finds their own less complicated short cuts ?

Let's be fair here: the forced marriage in India are not caused by Feminism, they are caused by various cultural factors including elders being given ridiculous amounts of authority over even adult children, "dowry culture," and stuff like that - i.e. traditionalism.

However, given that Indian Feminists have successfully lobbied against recognizing female-on-male rape as, y'know, rape, and that I always hear arranged/forced marriages talked about by Feminists as affecting exclusively women, I highly doubt that any Feminist organization has done a goddamn thing to try to fix the problem.

The video clips from the wedding show Vinod Kumar, a junior manager at Bokaro Steel Plant, dressed as a groom, being thrashed and forced to perform wedding rituals in Patna's Pandarak area.

Vinod Kumar kept crying as he was forced to perform wedding rituals.

Then he approached Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj on whose directions Pandarak police freed Vinod from the village where he was kept after the forced marriage.
